Trivia

A launch party for the Micro Drifters was held on September 14, 2012.
Despite having appeared at the 2012 San Diego Comic-Con as one of the 11 Piston Cup racers that were planned to be released in the Micro Drifters toy line, Dale Earnhardt Jr. was replaced by Manny Flywheel due to copyright issues.
There was originally going to be a 3-pack featuring "Delta", Hector Vector and Jolly Wrenches Dusty Crophopper. However, it got cancelled and was later replaced with a 3-pack featuring Bravo, Hector Vector and Supercharged Dusty Crophopper.
Lizzie is the only Radiator Springs resident to not have received a Micro Drifters release.
Every release of Fillmore depicted him as being in his "Race Team" variant.
Francesco Bernoulli, Carla Veloso, Lewis Hamilton and Rip Clutchgoneski are the only World Grand Prix racers to not have received a Micro Drifters release with metallic finish.

Goofs
