Cars in the Parks is a style set inspired by and exclusively sold within Disney Parks, specifically the Orlando and Anaheim locations.^[1]^[2] The product line launched in approximately late April–early May 2011.^[2]^[3]

History

Cars merchandise (including Mattel's) had already been available to purchase at Disney Parks; in 2009, the Mini Adventures line released a playmat featuring special Lightning McQueen and Sally variants, dressed as Mickey and Minnie Mouse, respectively.
