Movie Doubles

Movie Doubles was one of the earliest themed assortments in the Mattel Disney Pixar Cars line, and the first to be retailer-exclusive, sold exclusively at Toys R Us stores. The line consisted of 2-pack blister cards similarly to Movie Moments, but instead of pairing two characters who shared a movie scene together, they instead featured two variants of the same character. A first wave was released in 2007 during the Supercharged Series, with a second wave appearing later in 2008 during the World of Cars Series.

Blurb

"Your favorite characters from the hit Disney/Pixar movie, CARS, are now available in collectible die-cast 2-packs. It's the same vehicle from two different movie scenes! Look for Lightning McQueen/Cruisin' McQueen, Purple Ramone/Hydraulic Ramone, Mater/Brand New Mater, and Doc Hudson/Fabulous Hudson Hornet. Toys R Us Exclusive."
