The Global Racers Cup, abbreviated as GRC, is a cross-market storytelling series developed by Disney and Mattel. It was announced during the toy company's March 2024 Virtual Investor Presentation, and will be featured across multiple different product lines in the Mattel Disney Pixar Cars toy brand, including the 2024 mainline and Mini Racers series.

The series sees Lightning McQueen host a racing invitational in Radiator Springs, to which he invites many of his international friends and rivals, including his fellow World Grand Prix alumni as well as Cruz Ramirez and Jackson Storm; this marks the first series to bring together McQueen's main opponents from Cars 2 and Cars 3. Official copyright filings describe it as a "World Grand Prix" redux.

Lightning McQueen Races the Global Racers Cup 🏆

Lightning and Sally are going through a drive in Radiator Springs, when they see an advertisement for the Global Racers Cup featuring Francesco Bernoulii. Sally wanting to see Francesco, takes the townsfolk (minus Lizzie) to the race, but Lightning sneaks off onto the track, wishing to compete. As Lightning pulls into the pits, Francesco races past, but comes back to rev his engine at McQueen, with the other racers not far behind. Seeing this, McQueen immediately chases after them, with Mater cheering him on. He passes Shu, then Max and Carla, causing them to briefly make contact. He continues to pass Cruz, Raoul and Miguel with ease. When he comes up on Jackson, he rams McQueen into a wall, causing him to spin out and every other racer to pass him. Seeing this, Lightning's friends come down to the pits with Guido changing his tires, and Ramone giving the race car a new GRC painjob. Lightning immediately gets back onto the track as the other racers make their way onto the Jumping Raceway with Bernoulli still leading. Seeing his friend in last, Mater gets an idea and heads over to the track, setting up the ramp for Lightning to jump. As they make their way back onto the main track, Lightning immediately catches up to Storm, who once again tries to ram him, but McQueen dodges and Jackson sends himself into the wall, causing him to spin out and crash into some barriers. Lightning manages to catch up to Francesco on the last lap, however they tie. After the race the citizens of Radiator Springs cheer for the duo as they pose with the trophy.
