Disney•Pixar Cars: Nitroade Street X is a product development portfolio designed and released for the Summer 2015 season.[1] Similar to Formula Racers of the prior year, the concept sees Lightning McQueen challenge fellow World Grand Prix alumni in their area of expertise, this time rally champs Max Schnell and Raoul CaRoule – The three racers partake in a street race sponsored by Nitroade, an energy drink briefly referred in the first Cars film.

Storyline

Badge artwork generally depicts one or more of the racers speeding through a city, along a pre-made course laid out with arrow markers; Tires and drink barrels branded with the Nitroade logo are shown as obstacles. Mater appears with his headset and "Race Team" insignia, presumably acting as McQueen's crew chief.

Licensees likely had freedom to interpret their compositions, which generally depict one or more of the racers speeding through streets of a city: Jay Franco & Sons titled their beach towel for instance "Nitrode City" [sic].[2] Comparatively, G.A. Gertmenian & Sons designed their Game Rug course map as if taking place through and around Radiator Springs.
