Cars: Iron On! is a 2026 Global Creative art design, made available to licensees with a target January shelf date.[1] According to US copyright record, the respective style guide is shared with another, unidentified motif titled Cars: Ka-Chow Wow.[1]
Concept
A print catalog advertises "LARGE 11" X 13 IRON-ONS" at Radiator Springs Curios,[2] with designs inspired by local shopkeepers and passersby, as well as sponsors and brands relevant to Piston Cup racer Lightning McQueen. Accompanying "product codes" (for reference in an included mail order form) and meta-editorials reference their vehicle types, license plate numbers, and/or quotes and general personality traits from the films.[3]
The character designs appear similar—if not identical—to those in the previous year's Hot Rod Summer guide, with elevated proportions and heavyweight exhaust pipes creating stylized, "hot rod"-inspired renditions of each cast member. By extension, Iron On! bears resemblance to the original, 2013 Cars: Hotrod style set, from which Snot Rod additionally re-appears.
