Cars Toon: Tokyo Mater[1] is a Global Creative product development kit supplying characters, icons, and patterns based on the 2008 Cars Toon short, Tokyo Mater. Launched in fall 2010 alongside Cars: Snow Drift, the style collection continues the ongoing "drifting" theme first started with Cars: Drift in late 2009. Most relevant products likewise use Drift packaging, though some were approved to use the pre-Cars 2 red-and-black design.[2]
