Disney Jr. (formerly Disney Junior)[1] is an American television network and ultimately sub-division of the Walt Disney Company. The channel has long been associated with promoting Cars, including uploading film clips to their YouTube channel.[2] On August 8, 2025, Disney Television Animation and Pixar announced that an upcoming series, Cars: Lightning Racers, will air on the network in 2027, before also becoming available for streaming on Disney+.[3]
