Secret Agent Mater
In Secret Agent Mater, a book that ties-in with Cars 2, he appears in a room in Casino di Porto Corsa, though, he was never actually seen in that location in the film. In fact, he doesn't appear in Cars 2 at all, despite having a personality pose and a diecast.

Trivia
- He is named after Cars 2 production worker and animator, Don Crum.
- It is possible that Don Crumlin was meant to be an early rendition of J. Curby Gremlin, or that he was the result of a mistake between Pixar and Mattel. This is somewhat backed up via the Secret Agent Mater book, where he appears in Porto Corsa, a location where J. Curby Gremlin appeared in the movie.
- This is also further pushed by the fact that Don Crumlin was released in the London Rescue 12-pack and in the 2017 London Chase series.
- Take5ADay was informed that J. Curby Gremlin was going to be released in Case E, however Don Crumlin ended up coming instead.[1]
