Trivia

• He appears on loading screens for Cars 2: The Video Game.
• The right half of Topper's windshield resembles a monocle. This is because in real life, a Routemaster bus' windshield (which houses its cockpit) is completely asymmetrical, with the right windshield being protruded more than the left.
• In the movie, Topper's eyes are blue, but in the promo render he has brown eyes like the other London Busses.
• Despite being used on the diecast's artwork, the Double Decker Bus produced by Mattel is not actually Topper, lacking the iconic Killswitch route sign and the rest of the decals fail to match. Some diecasts did include the number 13, but the rest of the decals were unchanged.
• Killswitch is a double pun, a kill switch is a part of a race car that cuts power in case of a crash. It may also a reference to Ipswich, a town in England.
