Despite having merchandise, E. Manual himself doesn't actually appear in the movie, as none of Raoul's pitties match Maniez's design.

  • He is named after Cars 2 lighting artist, Emmanuel Maniez.
  • In his LEGO from, he is the only pitty that is not wielding his country's flag (France), instead, he is depicted wielding a checkered flag.
  • Although he is intended to be a Cars 2 character, he never actually appeared in the film. None of Raoul's pitties who appeared in the film match this particular one.
