Kyle Carson is a Next-Gen race car that competes in the Piston Cup Racing Series with the number 5 for the Sparky's Spark Plugs team.
History
As of now, Carson has not appeared in any official animated media. Only set to appear as a toy in the NASCAR collaboration line.
Trivia
- He is named after Kyle Larson, the NASCAR Cup Series driver who currently drives the #5 car for Hendrick Motorsports.
- Racing number 5 is also used by: Miguel Camino, Lane Locke, Eric Braker, Judd, El Chupacabra and Dr. Damage.
- He does not appear in Cars 3, but instead he will be released as a diecast toy car by Mattel as a part of their collaboration with NASCAR.
- Kyle Larson himself would drive a Lightning McQueen inspired livery in promotion for Cars 3, during the 2017 Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series season.[1]
