Professor Z's Helicopter is the helicopter for Professor Zündapp.

History

Cars 2

In Cars 2, Professor Z's Helicopter appears in Porto Corsa, where he captures Finn McMissile with a giant magnet and, off-screen, brings him to London, inside Big Bentley.

Cars 2: The Video Game

In Cars 2: The Video Game, Professor Z's Helicopter is mainly used as the Professor's main way of transportation. It appears in all Survival and Hunter missions, Pipeline Sprint, and Runway Tour.

Players have the ability to destroy him and Professor Z in the last wave of any Hunter mission. However, that is only possible on the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 versions of the game.

Advancements on the PC version of the game have allowed Professor Z in his helicopter to be a playable character.

Kinect Rush: A Disney/Pixar Adventure

In the 2012 Disney/Pixar video game Kinect Rush: A Disney/Pixar Adventure, however, he appears with Zündapp and a truck resembling Karl Haulzemoff as boss battles in the mission to defeat Zündapp.

Cars 3: Driven to Win

In Cars 3: Driven to Win, Professor Z's helicopter is seen in Airport Runway Rally, without his boss.

Trivia

  • Based on a sticker album, it is presumed the helicopter has split windows in the movie. However, in all of his video game appearances, his eyes are not separated.
  • For unknown reasons, his model is reused in Cars 3: Driven to Win, even though his appearance has no relation to the storyline whatsoever.
  • In Cars 2, he is painted black with gray stripes, but in all of his video game appearances, he is painted black with yellow stripes.
