The Mood Springs Crew Chief is the crew chief for the Mood Springs Piston Cup racing team. They are painted blue, wears a headset, and has Mood Springs's logo on their sides. They appears to be quite harsh on Chuck as their body language seen in the film suggests.

The Mood Springs Crew Chief has a brief appearance in Cars. During the Dinoco 400, they are sitting in pit row, coaching Chuck and barking orders at the latter and his pitties while performing a pit stop.
