The Art of Cars is a hardcover book that shows the concept art and early drafts of Cars. It was published in 2006 by authors Michael Wallis and Suzanne Fitgerald Wallis, and a foreword by John Lasseter. It shows the detail of the artwork that went into the making of Cars, with storyboards, research photographs and character sketches.
