Bots are computer software that can make automated or semi-automated edits on wikis when used in conjunction with external software, such as AutoWikiBrowser or pywiki. Bots are used to automatically perform actions that would otherwise be tedious to do manually, such as replacing the same string of text across multiple articles or removing all members of an unwanted category.
This wiki currently has two bots, RodRedBot (talk) and Syde BOT (talk), which are run by RodRedlineM1 and C.Syde65 respectively. Bot accounts for non-staff users are not permitted; Additionally, you must have permission before performing automated edits through your main account. Please message RodRedlineM1 for text replacements and other requests.
