CandyRific, LLC is a creator and manufacturer of novelty candy products.[1][2] Formed in 2000, the company owns an expansive portfolio of brand licenses, most notably Disney, M&M's, Marvel, and Star Wars.[3] Characters and properties are offered cyclically with respect to popularity and relevance,[2] and are applied to one or more archetypal product designs, including pens, candy fans, and flashlights. Each instance typically contains 1-2 colors or character variations; items are marketed in "colorful" displays and intended to be of desirability for collectors.[4]
Cars-themed products have existed since at least 2009.[5] Planes items were also introduced starting in 2013. Similar to other candy companies, many are included within multi-property Disney•Pixar assortments after completing their initial, dedicated run.
