Tailgate is a female demolition derby car who regularly competes at the Thunder Hollow Speedway's Crazy Eight. She has a pink livery, with a number 88 crudely painted on her doors. She is sponsored by The Greasy Grille BBQ.
History
In Cars 3, Tailgate is one of many demolition derby racers of whom Lightning McQueen and Cruz Ramirez must compete against after mistakenly entering an event. Tailgate is ultimately eliminated from the competition when Liability slams into her, spinning them both out, and Ramirez ultimately wins the derby.
