Stu Scattershields is a rollback tow truck who works for the 17th Rescue Race Division. He showed up to help Lightning McQueen after his big crash.

History

Stu Scattershields at the Florida International Super Speedway.

In Cars 3, he first appeared at the Los Angeles International Speedway during the Los Angeles 500 being unloaded by a forklift, later showing up to help in the aftermath of McQueen's crash. After a cameo in the Rust-eze Racing Center simulator, he is later seen at the Florida International Super Speedway while Ryan "Inside" Laney is being interviewed by the press, along with being seen passing by before the race.

Physical description

Stu Scattershields' model is unknown, except possibly his manufacturer is Haulital. But it may be either "Carry'em" or even "Roll'back". He is painted orange. He has steel rims, the 17th Rescue Race Division logo on his doors, white number 017 on his roof and "Race Div.17" on his front fenders.

• Stu is one of the very few vehicles where their diecast has their body come in two separate attachable pieces that need to be clicked together, instead of an accessory that needs to be clicked in place.
