Capitol Motors

Capitol Motors is a fictional American car company in Cars and Cars 3. The company produces various makes and models, such as sedans, coupes, race cars, sport utility vehicles (SUVs), and apparently possibly pickup trucks possibly based on Ford trucks, despite not appearing in the entire series. In Cars, many of the in-between young and old cars are Capitol Motors cars. A lot of Capitol Motors models are based on Ford cars.

Trivia

The Capitol Motors Verve, Stodgey Suaver, Shyster Cremlin and Crown Celesta are the only known production vehicles that have stock cars modelled after them.
The Econ 6 YL 3.0 Liter is the only known Capitol Motors model to have an identified and known model year, which is 2004.
All of the returning racers from Cars that appear in Cars 3 are Mark II's, the same model as Cal Weathers.
- Out of all of the returning racers, Dirkson was the only one to still be a Capitol Motors.
Murray Clutchburn's Disney Store diecast inaccurately depict him as a Capitol Motors Verve XT.
Terry Kargas' first die-cast release was inaccurately the same model as Cal Weathers and the returning Piston Cup racers from Cars. However, this would be fixed later on in a re-release making him the proper model that he is, that being an Axxelo Fission EA.
Chief RPM's model on his die-cast is instead a Haulital Lugnutter. The die-cast prototype was originally going to be the same as Charlie Checker.
Although Greg Candyman is a Capitol Motors Verve XT, he does not resemble the other Capitol Motors Piston Cup racers. but rather resembling a Husker Morocco or Stodgey Suaver EX.
- It is possible that Greg is an older model of the Verve XT.
Unlike the other Capitol Motors Verve XTs, which have wider builds, Kevin Racingtire has a thinner body, similar to that of a Crown Celesta.
- Ironically however, Davey Apex is a Crown Celesta but looks like a Capitol Motors Verve XT.
The Capitol Motors Behemoth XLI is very similar to the Emerycraft Inka.
The Capitol Motors Verve LX is very similar to the Brawny Motor Co. Shindig SR. However, they have differently designed grills, headlights and wheels.
- Interestingly, the Tank Coat Crew Chief has the same grill and headlights as Skip Ricter.
- Furthermore, Earl Filter shares the same grill and headlights as Padre.
The Capitol Motors Verve JR is similar to the 1992 Delbert Advocate, one of the two types of the Emerycraft Puttputt, the Remirunabout Menv, and the Remirunabout Neuro.
Axle Accelerator's model bares resemblance to the 1980 Emerycraft Lima.
In the 1:55 Scale Diecast range, Winford Bradford Rutherford's model is reused for several other characters. These include - Billy Oilchanger, Brush Curber, Chuck Armstrong,^[1] Davey Apex, Dirkson D'Agostino, Johnny Blamer, Manny Flywheel, Ryan Shields, and Slider Petrolski.
