The Rescue Diver is a special service operative and member of the Mexican coast guard. Typically assigned with rescue chopper Hector Vector, the diver is one of many specialized recovery units, equipped with paramedical training for deployment in both combat missions and natural emergencies.

History

Dusty's rescue.

Having taken off from U.S.S. Dwight D. Flysenhower, Wings Around the Globe competitor Dusty Crophopper attempted to complete his journey to Mexico for the rally's conclusion. Navigating a fierce rainstorm, the crop-duster's vulnerable engine sputtered under climate pressure, leaving him to plunge deep into the Pacific Ocean. Nearby coast guard operatives witnessed and quickly responded, deploying the rescue diver to catch the submerged aircraft with a large cargo net. the pair were pulled up by a deckhand, and Crophopper was transported to the WATG Medical Hangar.
