• Although Rip Clutchgoneski was originally labeled as part of the Le Motor Prototype series, based on early promotional artwork for Cars 2, officially, he is a 2005 F6000 racer who competes in the Formula 6000 series.
  • Strangely, his Ice Racers diecast has "Le Motor Prototype" on his spoiler, despite being made four years after Cars 2.
• The 2006 Le Motor Prototype J8 is a fictional racecar that draws inspiration from various LMP cars, but is primarily based on the 2007 Peugeot 908 HDi FAP. 2006 is a reference to the 908 concept racecar that was first introduced at the 2006 Paris Motor Show. The term "J8" is a fictional model name.
• The 2009 Le Motor Prototype B12 is a fictional racecar that draws inspiration from various LMP cars, but is primarily based on the 2009 Drayson Lola B09/60 Judd, an LMP1 that raced from 2009 to 2010. This car later evolved into the 2012 electric prototype racecar, Lola-Drayson B12/69 EV; which may explain why Carla's model name is "B12".
