Trivia
- There is no racer with the numbers 3 or 13.
- In Cars 2, Jeff Gorvette was originally going to have the number #3, which is the main number real life Corvettes race with. However, his number was changed to #24 as a reference to Jeff Gordon's racing number.
- The numbers 9 and 12 are shared between two racers, creating an overlap.
- In Cars: Fast as Lightning, Long Ge is shown with the number 9 (the same number as Nigel Gearsley) on his ICE paint job. However, on his Disney Store Ice Racers die-cast, he is shown with the number 12, the same number that Frosty is depicted with.
- The number 14 is shared between two racers, creating an overlap.
- In Cars: Fast as Lightning, Pyotr Racinov is shown with the number 14 on his ICE paint job. However, on the Disney Store Ice Racers die-cast, Memo Rojas Jr. is shown with the number 14.
- There is a Rally TROC race hosted in the comics, hosted by Raoul. It is the only race that does not have any die-casts for it.
- Originally the Silver Race was not apart of the TROC series. However, later on, it would be included. Technically, making it the first race of the series.
- Frosty Winterbumper was seen with the number 4 (the same number as Max Schnell) in the Neon Racers book however the Transcontinental Race of Champions series has depicted him with the number 12.
- Fernando Alonso is the only WGP racer to not be apart of the TROC series.
- This is probably due to copyright issues with Fernando himself.
- The series name is likely a reference to the International Race of Champions, or IROC.
