1.1.0 Christmas Update is the second update of Cars: Fast as Lightning that introduced a Christmas-themed Radiator Springs with new decorations and track pieces, as well as introducing Max Schnell. At some point in early 2015, a mini update called Chinese New Year was added, including content related to the Chinese New Year holiday, as well as new paintjobs for Lightning McQueen and Fillmore.

Trivia

  • In the update's loading screen, Winter McQueen is shown to be in his Holiday Hotshot design but with the spoiler from the World Grand Prix, but in the game, the design have off-road modifications similar to the off-road look he has in the book Mater Saves Christmas. Even strangers, the update's icon features Winter McQueen with a Santa hat in which he doesn't have in the game.
