Prague is the alternate opening scene from Cars 2.

There was an alternate opening to the film, which included an agent named Healey trying to escape from the lemons in Prague. The lemons catch up to him and try to destroy him but fail when he tases them. The agent eventually decides to lower his profile. Driving outside the city centre, where he finds a hiding place which turns out to be a scrap yard. The lemons find him and put him in a car crusher, which starts to crush him. Before dying, Zil comes and asks the agent, "Where is Finn McMissile?", to which he replies "You'll never catch him, he will stop you!", and then Zil replies, "Ha! We shall see.". , as the other bad guys watch as the agent gets crushed to death. The opening was removed because it was too dark and scary.

Agent Healey

Trivia

  • Some people think that the agent in this scene is Leland Turbo, in reality, Healey is an entirely separate character and the 2 are not each others' counterparts.
  • Prague is the capital of Czech Republic.
  • This is 1 of 2 deleted scenes where Zil makes an appearance, the other being Train to Spain
  • The image of the moon reflected in the puddle at the beginning of the scene would have been the transitioning point from Luxo Jr's spotlight looking at the camera in the Pixar Intro
  • Healey's gadgets displayed in this scene would be repurposed for Holley Shiftwell in the final film. These include:
    • His computer projecting up from the end of his hood
    • His dual tasers
  • So far this is the only scene in the Cars franchise to take place in Prague
  • The setting of this scene could be a reference to the opening of Casino Royale (2006), which also begins at night in Prague with an agent's cover being blown (though it was Bond hunting a spy within MI6's ranks)
  • The idea of an opening the film with the death of an agent would make it into the final film, but with Leland Turbo on the oil rig
  • When Healey travels to the scrapyard, we see oil tank cars on the train tracks nearby, potentially hinting at the plot to destroy alternative fuel
  • This is the 3rd Cars deleted scene to feature deactivated cars, the 1st and 2nd being Lost and Community Service, respectively
