Traffic School (deleted scene)

Traffic School was the fifth and last deleted scene in Cars.

Plot

Lightning McQueen is awakened by Sheriff and explains that if he wants to race in the Radiator Springs Grand Prix, he will need to go to traffic school. The lesson is held in the old drive-in of Radiator Springs. At the beginning, Lightning makes the step because he is a race car, but Sally makes him understand that he must learn to drive the same and therefore makes him wear a uniform similar to that of the canceled short: To Protect and Serve.

• The scene is not on the US DVD due to storage limitations and debuted on the US Blu-Ray release.
