Towhiti

Towhiti, known also as Tahiti, is an island in the Pacific Ocean in French Polynesia, overseas collectivity of France. A travel brochure for the island is seen in the closing credits of Cars 2.

Trivia

• It is based on Tahiti. In the first Cars, Lightning McQueen mentions "Tahiti" rather than "Towhiti", when he bluffs to Sheriff that his lawyer is located on that island.
