A stub is an article lacking the bare minimum of essentials. They are characterized by their lacking of critical, detailed information about the subject, or basic wiki features. While they are often identifiable by their short length, it should be noted that not all short articles are necessarily stubs - an article is only a stub when more information is needed or even available in the first place. These are the typical signs of a stub:

• Lacking essential information (see below)
• Lacking one or more appropriate categories
• Lacking one or more appropriate templates
• Lacking one or more appropriate images
• Only 1-2 lines of poor writing
• Lacking a proper navigation template

To mark an article as a stub, add this template by typing {{stub}} on the very first line of an article; This will automatically add it to a master list at Category:Stubs. To help fix a stub, here are some reliable tips for improving an article's status:

• Clarify what Cars media it is from
• Clarify what the subject is (character, item, etc.)
• Clarify wits purpose is (protagonist, plot device, etc.)
• Detail crucial background info (story significance, signature trait(s), etc.)
• Add at least one template, category, or image
